Triad
Chords are musical structures formed by the simultaneous performance of two or more notes.
Common chord types include triads and quads. A triad is composed of a root note, a third note, and a fifth note, while a fourth chord is composed of a root note, a third note, a fifth note, and a seventh note. Different chord types produce different sound effects and emotional expressions.
Chords can be played with instruments such as guitar, piano, keyboard, etc. In music, chords are often used for accompaniment, harmony, chord progression, and other aspects, adding rich layers and emotions to the music.
A chord is a combination of three or more notes, followed by a triad, which is composed of a root note, a triple note, and a pentatonic note.
A major triad is composed of a major third and a pure fifth with a root note pointing upwards. Below, we will write a triad in C major. Firstly, we will write the root note C on the staff
Next, based on the root sound, write out three and five notes respectively, and then we determine the specific intervals on the keyboard
If we need a major third, then we can count four and a half notes up from the root.
Pure fifth, return to the root sound and count up seven semitones. Because this chord does not contain black keys, we do not need to write any rising or falling signs on the staff. A triad in C major is C-E-G
Next, we will try to write a triad in Eb major
Write three and five notes on the staff
Switch to the keyboard and start with the root sound Eb. Count up four half tones to obtain G as the third major
Returning to the root note, counting up seven semitones yields a pentatonic sound of Bb
Returning to the root note, counting up seven semitones yields a pentatonic sound of Bb
The third chord in Eb major is Eb-G-Bb.
